By Po Bronson.Described as both inspirational and a superior self-help book, What Should I DO with my LIFE? tells the stories of about 50 people from all over the world and their attempts to find meaningful work. It's honest - not everyone featured is successful. The book is based on the fact that we're not born with a manual telling us where we should be going and few of us are given one along the way. So most of us stumble around making mistakes and sometimes end up getting it right. The author doesn't claim to have the answers or that there is a right or a wrong way to go about trying to find them. Yet he starts with the story of someone who was given very clear directions - a letter from the Dalai Lama. This story is interesting in that it shows that even if you're lucky enough to be told what you came here for, it isn't always easy to do it. This book appeals to the reader because it's down to earth and describes the lives of ordinary people. It's not the hype found so often online, you've probably all seen headlines of the "College Kid makes $1 zillion overnight" type. Although this success comes to some, it isn't the norm and Po Bronson doesn't just include success stories. An interesting book for anyone
